A lot of nuance that goes left unexplored, which has the effect of allowing the viewer to cast Matteo Lane as somehow more problematic than the average person. The most interesting part is the ending, which feels more like Lane walking through an open than making a stage exit. I so wish we had gotten to see more of what was on the other side. But I suppose mission accomplished given his self-identified brunch catchup style.
