Julio is a little freak and I love it. If there’s one thing this show does well, it’s build on the ethereal and esoteric world of Julio. I imagine it would be hard to make sense of this without having seen his prior work. That’s also the delight in it, though. It feels like an inside joke, written as a love letter to those that dare to pay attention to the world around them. Heavy plus for the expert use of Bowen Yang, Tomás Matos, and Dylan O’Brien.
