The stress of hospitality work is definitely captured. Just about everyone is an asshole and that’s exactly how it is! I’ve never worked in an open kitchen, but that added element seemed rather unused, and the timing of the events in the shift seem accelerated to an unnatural pace just to fit into the one-take. Why was the racist table, of all things, never really addressed…
