I’m mostly here for Sophie Thatcher supremacy, but seeing the rest of the cast felt like seeing a cult classic form in real time. That said, this felt like Westworld or Dollhouse for dummies. The first two acts are grounded in relative reality that the third act feels like it’s cheating out. It waits until the last minute to throw serious theatrics and the cohesion of the film’s narrative pays the price for it.
