RewatchA rare revision down because I put my finger on what annoyed me. For all the playing with what is the film and what is the play within the film, the cinematography doesn’t really provide reason behind which parts are shot to communicate which way we’re supposed to watch each scene. Also, I questioned if AI was used or if there was just poor editing in the details. For example, the time shown on the video calls don’t line up to the timeline presented in the dialogue. Costumers knocked it out of the park and the play script itself was amazing—I need a full production to be mounted yesterday. It gave me Jerusalem vibes, in a way.
