Mostly fascinated by Ms. Saldaña deciding she’s Black again. For a musical, I’m not sure how much music there really was. And the storytelling, especially the choreographic storytelling, was not compelling. I am shocked that Karla Sofía Gascón could pull the level of performance out of this script that she could — good for her.
