I think this is mostly a really great Harry Potter fanfic with Robert Pattinson trading up from and referencing his role as Cedric Diggory. This was very enjoyable and funny, but also at times haunting. I don’t know that it found its satirical tone; at the very least, the tone is from the President Kamala Harris timeline. And something about that feels unnerving and dangerous at a time like this. Also, can we stop shoehorning every other type of story into a romance? This would’ve been much more enjoyable if Naomi Ackie’s Nasha had stronger motivations that didn’t come back to her relationship with Mickey.
