If there is one critique it’s simply that I wanted more. For all of the glory it is to have the tour show itself documented, I found myself thirsty for Beyoncé to peel back the varnish further. This is perhaps the most well-executed show / documentary she’s given us, but real fans know there is so much more: Dubai, fashion house collaborations (especially Balmain and Telfar), Cé Noir, her hair care line, acts ii and iii…her last line has me worried and excited that she’s only just begun and that her foot is firmly planted on our necks (as it should be).
