I don’t always think people are cast to act. And usually, I am frustrated by that. Here, it works. There is so much verisimilitude between Pamela Anderson and her character that it seems like no one else could be cast. Jamie Lee Curtis’s performance is also one of her better ones, in my opinion; of course, her performance in the post-film Q&A has distracted from that. I love that Ms. Shipman can eat up a quick 8-count! Justice for women, at the end of the day.
