We bit off more than we could chew on this one. Too many players covered in too much of a scattershot approach. The natural narrative build of that season felt suppressed and spoiled the chance to welcome fans into the tennis community and such an inflection point where a new era creates a more inviting atmosphere than usual. You can’t help but feel that the players really just wanted a check — I guess I don’t blame them.
