This dragged on for 6 episodes to the point that the final one felt meaningless. At least we always know it’s men having the audacity that is the true crime. In the end, that’s not enough to justify a plot where the central issue is made to be miscommunication. I will say that I was particularly impressed by Cate Blanchett’s physical performance. Her collapse in the hospital took the wind out of my sails.
