We either needed more or fewer episodes. I think there’s a lot of good tension, throughout, but no release. It’s the typical trap of telling a historical fiction, but I don’t know that there was a strong angle on this story, which exacerbated the issue. The women of this cast carried, though!

I continue to be laser-focused on the Calvin tea. Carolyn x Caroline was also good this episode.
It’s sad to consider how our ideologies on public personas and privacy have only become more entrenched over time. Watched this with Chappell Roan discourse in the back of my mind.
Loved how this was contained, but getting a little tired of us hitting the same notes with no meaningful plot advancement.
