A pretty strong opening season. As someone just starting their Housewives journey, I can see where they were cooking! Adrienne Maloof supremacy.

I came over here from VPR, so I won’t stand for the LVP slander! I like Camille more this season and Taylor…I have sympathy for her, but she’s really just as bad for me. Kim and Kyle are my new god tier and Ms. Maloof is kinda just here? At least they can all agree that Mauricio is hot.

I was much more engaged this season. These girls became much more problematic, especially with the addition of Yolanda Hadid. And that’s kind of what the show needs to be. But let it be known that LVP is untouchable. Also, the husbands are all in the group chat, which I hate but love.

This season…happened. Vibes were off idk.

This is exactly the kind of nonsense I want to be seated for! Brandi has got to go, but I’m glad to see Rinna here after brief encounters with her on my screen in childhood. Eileen is a total mood.

The real treasure was the Munchausen we made along the way.

And just like that I’m an Erika stan. Kyle stays being the comedy queen cutie. They really brought the heat as this season started cooking. I’ll be thinking about the bunny for a long time.

In which Dorit continues to piss me off. Not a lot of meaningful spice coming out of this season, I’m afraid.

I feel like tons of interesting things happened, but the season was full of fluff. I continue to stan Erika. Justice for LVP. GOODBYE, KYLE!

I can’t tell if the breath of fresh air is Garcelle’s presence or the lack of LVP, but it’s definitely not Sutton. That aside, it really does feel like this season was a reset that continues to cement Kyle’s and Erika’s iconography, in particular.

This might be the show’s peak. It was the most emotionally vulnerable and grounded it’s ever been, in no small part due to Erika. And all the while, it was still dramatic and entertaining.

Lots of interesting things were surfaced, but then nothing was really dealt with in detail. It made for a very annoying season. I’m not clear on Diana Jackson, but I can appreciate that she shook it up some. I continue to wonder when this group will realize that the actual pot stirrer is Garcelle.

Kyle continues to carry this show. Yet, nothing much felt like it happened this season. Her separation for Mauricio felt muted, compared to others’ marital issues that have been seen on the show. And suddenly everyone is on Ozempic.

The most interesting things to happen were Dorit smoking on camera and Garcelle finally deciding she’s had enough. And even those things…I don’t care? Need a cast reboot to shake it up, at this point.

Episode notes
Mess everywhere! Not me back on Team Dorit…
In many ways, a compelling episode. I would be curious about a miniseries on the history of Kyle’s house.
[Dorit’s Erika impression.]
It’s not clocking to Amanda.
Hello, Denise…
Notice how this episode cooked and Amanda wasn’t there? They could never make me hate you, Erika Jayne!
It took Sutton to address my biggest concern with Amanda — her voice.
Jennifer Tilly saying “‘Downtown’ Abbey.”
I’m no fan of Amanda, but these women are revealing themselves as ageist bullies. Disappointed in Boz big time!
Production needs to cut the fluff. We should’ve been seated at that dinner the majority of the episode, and they know it!
I stay a Kyle apologist.
Missed opportunity to pack more in and continue to leverage the momentum from the last couple of efforts. Spending much too much time telling and not showing.
Erika really handled it the way it needed to be handled. Bye, Dorit!
Get Rachel off that right couch and onto the right side of history. I cannot believe I continue to be forced to be Team Amanda. This is BAD FOR BOZ.
Amanda is actually the only one that knows how anything works? I pray this is the last season we have to deal with Dorit.
