It’s nice to see my favorite format from Nathan For You in full effect. There are so many levels that nothing is real and everything is. And I love that. It’s still fuck Angela, though, for real.

Episode notes
Alligator Lounge mentioned.
Yea, Robin needed to go.
The timeline acceleration sequence at the end fucked me up. This woman’s sense of religion…
The levels to this one absolutely floored me. The constant breaking, re-assembly, and putting up of new fourth walls blew me away. Something about Nathan in that wig…
Angela’s investment in this is so confusing. Makes a ton of sense that she’s just out because it feels like she’s rehearsing being a wife more than being a mother.
i mean, yea…I don’t think these younger kids are gonna be well, Nathan!

As it turns out, I like introspective Nathan Fielder less. It’s touching, but almost boring in its earnestness, which is weird to say for a show that relies on a series of events that themselves are far from boring. Maybe it’s that I watched too much Fielder in rapid succession to appreciate it. Maybe I just like a little more mean-spiritedness.
Episode notes
Troubling stuff (complimentary).
The assessment and Congress of it all in one episode is frying me BAD.
